Welcome back to another month of Global Stampers’ hop. I took a break last month but I’m back with some cute Easter projects for you.
Here are my projects…
I don’t own any of the latest Easter sets so I had to improvise. First, let’s take a look at the bunny card…
The bunny & sentiment are from the Sweet Little Something set. I thought he made a gorgeous Easter bunny. The eggs were made using the balloon punch & the Balloon Celebration stamp set. The speckles on the card were added by flicking the brush tip of my Stampin’ Write marker on its lid.
The middle egg was created by swiping the solid balloon stamp across my ink pad. I got this tip from Stamping Susan Wong, a dear friend and Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team member. You can see her tip here on Stampin’ Up!’s Instagram post. Thanks for sharing Susan!
Next is the matching Easter note card & basket. I CASEd the bunny punch art from Joanne James, The Crafty Owl. She used slightly different punches and you can see her version here.
The bunnies were created using Powder Pink, Crumb Cake & Soft Sky. You can see the punches I used for the bunny in the product list below. I thought having the sentiment stamped on the inside & showing on the front added a different feel to the note card.
For the Easter Basket, I embossed the Crumb Cake cardstock with the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This was a free Sale-A-Bration item which ended yesterday but don’t despair if you missed out on earning it. You’ll be able to purchase this item when our new Annual Catalogue goes live in June.
I hope you enjoyed these projects today & they’ve inspired you to look at your sets differently.
