Global Stampers September 2017: Our favourite products from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue

Hi all,

Welcome to the September 2017 edition of the Global Stampers Blog Hop. This month we’re showcasing some of our favourite products from the newly released 2017 Holiday Catalogue.

As always, there’s so many cool new products that are on trend & it was difficult for me to choose. So I narrowed it down to my favourite suite, with a few extra products thrown in for good measure  🙂

Here are my projects…

GSSEPT2017 HC 2017 Favs

I made the 6″ x 4″ Pocket Page card/Frame for a swap I participated at my recent team training. Here’s a closer look at it…

GSSEPT2017 HC 2017 Favs Cheers to the Year Frame

I used a sentiment from the Cheers to the Year stamp set and most of the sparkly metallics from the suite. The photo doesn’t do the new Champagne foil sheet any justice & it’s so pretty in real life. The vellum created a muted look to the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Here’s a close up of the focal point on the frame…

I cut the Gold Foil Snowflake into a quarter to place behind my sentiment piece along with a length of Silver Mini Sequin & the new Vintage Crochet Trim. I love how the black accents the shine & sparkle from the combination of metallics.

Here’s a side view for the frame…

Our Foam Adhesive Strips are great for creating shaker cards but also make creating a frame easy! The stand was made easily with a piece of cardstock measuring 1 1/2″ x 4″ & scored diagonally.

Here’s a look at the tag…

GSSEPT2017 HC 2017 Favs Joy Tag

I love how the Foil Snowflakes can be cut and used as great accent pieces! Here I had 2 quarter pieces of the Silver Foil Snowflake behind the sentiment with a length of the Black Mini Sequin Trim. The top of the tag was made using the Pretty Label punch as the width of the cardstock was too wide for any of our tag punches.

I embossed the word Joy with Copper Emboss powder and the circle image was stamped with Fresh Fig ink & embossed with Clear Emboss powder. The same circle image was stamped onto the Fresh Fig cardstock with Versamark ink and embossed with Clear Emboss powder as well.

Oh and have you noticed that I’m loving the mini sequin trim?! These new ones are about half the size of the old ones and they seem to stay on the thread much better   🙂
