I had another opportunity to teach at the Hamilton Christmas Extravaganza on the Sunday just been. It was an amazing day packed with heaps of crafting, inspirational displays & laughter. My plan was to take photos throughout the day and post them on my Facebook page but it was such a full on fun day that I didn’t even end up taking a single photo! Lol!
Well, to make up for that, I thought I’d share the projects that the ladies who attended got to make on the day. Here they are…
This was the project I taught & it’s a Gift Card & Tags Holder. The envelopes that hold the tags are made using the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies. The tags were decorated with the Festival of Trees Bundle. I also used the Color Me Autumn DSP & Washi Tape even though the project had a Christmas theme. The idea behind it was to use products other than the way they were designed for so that the ladies could see how versatile products can be.
Aren’t these just the cutest?! I love the little penguin! These were made using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies and some punches.
This card was made using the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies and also doubled as a gift card holder. Another project that shows how to use a product differently and get more bang for your buck!
This beautiful window card was made using the Wondrous Wreath Bundle with the baby-wipes technique. You add a few drops of Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill of your choice (about 3 colours) and wait for the colours to bleed into each other. You then ink up your image with your uniquely created ‘ink pad’ and stamp away. It’s such a fun & effective technique…although it can get messy! 🙂
This is a Secret Message Card made using the Get Your Santa On stamp set. It’s a fun little card that has a hidden/secret area where you can write an additional message. There were lots of ‘Wows’ from the ladies when this was being taught (they were teaching it at the table next to us).
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these projects. If you’re keen to join in on the fun at one of these events, make sure you sign up to my newsletter to keep up to date on when the next one will be. You can sign up for my newsletter here
Thank you for stopping by today. Please leave me a comment on your thoughts off these projects. Until next time, happy stamping!
